Welcome to the Kansas Produce Co-op

This is the spot to come to if you are a small-farm/large garden produce grower, with a retail presence and a surplus of one or more of your crops available for trade.

The idea is simple;  a few dozen small farmers and big gardeners, each with some sort of retail presence, act as our growers. Spread out geographically so they are non-competitive on the retail front,  they can provide each other with much greater variety and a more-reliable supply than each individual could do alone.

By encouraging each of our members to specialize in a few specialty cash crops along with their varieties, and everyone agrees to different specialties, we get a versatile supply that can be divided between all members so everyone can offer a much wider variety at their sales events.  If you already have an established retail presence, you know how important those interesting, colorful, unique, and hard-to-find produce items can be in attracting buyers to your booth or stand.

We also plan to sell and organize veggie delivery clubs via some of our producers, along with church canning bees, group fundraisers and other innovative marketing opportunities. We will deliver to a select list of restaurants, too, in order to provide our growers with a reliable market every week.
